| So I am trying to like this city that I am living in now...so far so good, if I minus the cab drivers and rude bitches in the supermarkets. oh may be minus also the ugly Penns Landing area..Thank god we have restaurant week twice a year! In addition to a bunch of Starrs and Jose Graces' restaurants, I am thinking to check out Table 31. I heard the food is bad, so maybe just for the comcast scenery and happy hour. My colleague told me that her mom designed the landscape for the restaurant. Cool..She also told me that a flying pigeon was accidentally killed when the fountain was first turned on! What a funny tragedy.
Last night I went with my friend for the Penn. State Professional Woman happy hour. What a pleasant group of people! I actually met a girl who also misses Players (aka Indigo) as much as I do! After 2 Guinness (inherited my mom's craving), we left and passed by an southern Indian fast food restaurant. It was a soft opening so we could not get chai or coffee. Then, my friend started to chat with the co-owner/chef/fortune-teller/'living buddha'-like punjabi from Singapore. He was super funny! He even spoke hokkien and Malay to me! We found out that he owns a few restaurants in Philly and is going to open another one 2 blocks from my house. I would love to work part-time there! you know how much I love Indian food. I have Kawan brand roti canai in my freezer all the time!

发现好像很久没看中文了, 但是书店只有十几本中文书，所以就决定买朱自清的散文集.
是旧书，七块钱, 原价是二十, 心想, 不错啊.
走回家路途中,突然想起是二十人民币! 我竟然花了五十买了本旧书!!!!! 超笨!

| I had been taking pottery class in the HUB. So today was my last class. I have 5 pieces of clay! Distorted but ok. Usually, if I planned to make a mug it became a bowl or if i wanted a vase, 90% it just collapsed. I think it's my problem but i like to blame it on my instructor.
I just got back my confidence to continue with my graduate work again. Now I need to decide if I should stick with pepper mint flavor or choose a funky peanut butter flavor.
I get bored too easily. Never stay long enough in anything and therefore never good in anything.

Just want to say thank you for everyone who showed up in Players last Thursday. There was no one in the club, and just 13 of us dancing on the floor. I always get little bit sensitive on my birthday but in the end everything was cool. Big xiexie to yee mey and vicky who came all the way from Philly. I went bouldering again on my birthday with my new rock climbing shoes. The shoes, oh god, sooo weird, they just stick to the rock.....Josh finally came back for my birthday after 14 months of traveling. I am trying to fatten him up, but in the end, i think i am the one who is putting on weight. I guess its good for me too. Everything has been sweet. So happy that he is with me now. I have the best family, best friends, best boyfriend, good food... i already have everything! | | |
